Calcium Carbonate Masterbatch
PE/PP/HDPE-based filler masterbatch made with ultra-fine calcium carbonate; reduces costs while improving printability and strength.
Lowers cost, increases strength.
Düderi calcium carbonate masterbatches are PE/PP/HDPE-based and produced with ultra-fine calcium carbonate (CaCO₃). Grades are offered with polymer content ranging from 15% to 30%; depending on the application, the dosage can start anywhere from 5% to 50%.
Our filler masterbatches are also available in blue, yellow, and green shades. Across a wide range of applications, from woven sacks to HDPE pipes, they reduce raw material costs while improving properties such as printability, slip, and tear resistance.
Features and benefits
-
Cost reduction
Ultra-fine calcium carbonate replaces part of the polymer and lowers the unit raw material cost.
-
Printability and strength
Improves surface printability and product strength.
-
Slip properties and tear resistance
Imparts slip properties; improves tear resistance.
-
Reduced fibrillation
Reduces fibrillation and the tendency of tapes to split under mechanical stress.
Application areas
- Woven sacks, raffia tape
- Film lamination
- Blow molding
- Injection molding
- Nonwoven fabric
- HDPE pipe
