Black Masterbatch
Targeted jetness, gloss, and coverage with carbon black; homogeneous dispersion and application-specific formulation.
Quality depends on the properties of the carbon black and the precision of production.
The quality of black masterbatches depends on the physical and chemical properties of the carbon black they contain and on the precision of the production processes. For successful application, the masterbatch must have a homogeneous dispersion, be formulated at suitable concentration levels, and meet the targeted jetness, gloss, and coverage values.
Düderi black masterbatch solutions are widely used in many areas, such as film packaging, pipe production, automotive parts, compounding, panel applications, injection molding, and cable insulation.
However, since every process has its own dynamics, a given black masterbatch may not deliver the same result in every application. It is therefore advisable to use the products recommended for each specific application.
The right black for each application
The demands of the application determine which formulation to choose.
-
Film and packaging
The masterbatch must provide the desired level of jetness and opacity on the product surface and must not cause problems such as particle formation during production.
-
High performance
If deep, glossy black tones cannot be achieved even when the dosage rate is increased, masterbatch solutions designed specifically for this requirement should be chosen.
-
Sectors where aesthetics come first
Automotive, electronics, and cosmetics applications require specialized formulations that guarantee high jetness and surface quality.
Application areas
- Woven sacks, raffia tape
- Nonwoven fabrics
- Blown films
- Injection molding
